The development of a business model for an agricultural enterprise is based on a sequential value chain, which is a set of processes that ensure production and movement of products “from farm to fork”. The process of agricultural production from the point of view of the business model of activity is reduced to a sequence of certain events and actions that have the beginning and the end. The methodological basis is the process approach, which allows considering the sequence of actions within certain boundaries. The key elements of the digital business model of an agricultural enterprise are highlighted: the value for external customers, the system for creating this value, the assets of the enterprise, its financial model. The creation of consumer value of agricultural products in the course of the business model functioning is conditioned by the availability of information that promotes the introduction of the industry product by the manufacturer to the market and the consumer’s conscious choice. In the author’s understanding, the process of digitalization of a business model consists of relationships with end customers, and those between agricultural and processing enterprises, intermediary, trading organizations, organization of on-farm activities in accordance with market conditions, strategic management.
