Abstract

Aerial remote sensing camera image capture has a huge data flow per second for image transmission. The image frames lost in the process of storing to hard disk.To solve this problem,an image data high-speed storage technology by hard disk and implementation method are introduced based on the miniaturization dual-band aerial remote sensing camera. The problem resulting in the frame losing is analyzed theoretically from multi-angle.The analysis is proved accurate by the experimental data. The bottle-neck is pointed out clearly during the image transmission. Finally, based on theoretical analysis and experimental data, the concrete solutions are proposed in both hardware and software:use RAID technology and allocate large cache in hardware, use WINDOWS multiple-thread programming combined HOOK technology in software. With the combination of these methods, the problem of the frame losing is solved successfully.Image data is stored without losing frames from 8frame/s increase to 24frame/s.The work efficiency of the hard disk is improved from 51.6%to 78.3%.
