Abstract

Данная статья представляет собой исследование жизни и деятельности православного писателя и педагога архимандрита Александра (Кременецкого). Статья основывается на материалах, опубликованных в Воронежских епархиальных ведомостях за вторую половину XIX — нач. XX в. Отец Александр прошел путь от приходского священника до настоятеля крупнейшего монастыря России. За время своего служения он проявил себя как талантливый духовный писатель, чьи книги издавались в России при жизни, и прославился как не менее талантливый педагог, воспитавший и давший образование сотням детей в Воронежской епархии. К сожалению, подвижническая деятельность отца Александра закончилась после известных событий 1917 г., как и жизнь возглавляемой им обители. This article introduces the study of the life and work of the Orthodox writer and teacher Archimandrite Alexander (Kremenetsky). It is based on the materials published in the Bulletin of Voronezh Eparchy for the second half of the XIX and the beginning of the XX century. Father Alexander went from a parish priest to the higumen of the largest monastery in Russia. During his ministry, he proved himself as a talented spiritual writer, whose books were published in Russia during his lifetime. He became famous as an equally talented teacher, who raised and educated hundreds of children in the Voronezh diocese. Unfortunately, the ascetic activity of Father Alexander ended after the famous events of 1917, as well as the life of the monastery headed by him.
