Abstract
The article is devoted to the specificity of representing the notion “Political Olympus”, studied within the framework of the Russian language space. The undertaken directions of the lexical and semantic analysis of the indicated units of vocabulary and individual texts of the Russian printed mass media have revealed growing tendencies of actualization of the studied notion in the national linguistic culture, showing signs of universality in the representation of constants conceptually significant for national and world culture. In this connection, the analysis of the peculiarities of the language realization of the notion “Political Olympus” within the framework of political discourse is of considerable interest.
