Abstract
The monograph examines the main directions of organic inclusion of the economy of Tajikistan in the EAEU through the implementation on the territory of the republic of major infrastructure and integration projects, the development of transport and transit systems and modern trade routes passing through Central Asia - the crossroads of world economic relations. It is shown that it is on the territory of Tajikistan that transit nodes of value creation can and should be formed as part of the development of innovative and industrial zones of the XXI century trade routes in the direction “East-West” and “North-South”. The results of the analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of existing and projected communications in Central Asia, taking into account their geo-economic, military-political, socio-cultural significance, are presented. A system of evidence has been formed that the development of the transport and transit system of Tajikistan fully meets the objectives of intensifying the integration processes in the EAEU, ensuring security within the CSTO, interfacing the infrastructure and integration projects of the EAEU, the Chinese initiative Belt and Path, an alternative project for India to develop the North - South "and others. Particular attention is paid to the rationale for the construction of the railways Russia - Kazakhstan -Kyrgyzstan - Tajikistan (within the CSTO and EAEU) and China - Kyrgyzstan - Tajikistan - Afghanistan - Iran (as part of the “Belt and Path”), followed by the establishment of transport and economic ties with India, Iraq and Syria. A list of the main arguments of a socio-economic, military-political, socio-cultural nature, as well as the tasks of ensuring economic security, indicating the critical importance and urgency of the implementation of these infrastructure and integration projects. The study was carried out to continue the development of the theory of a transit economy, based on a systemic paradigm using a historical approach.
