Abstract
The relevance of the article is conrmed by the need to monitor the information support of education and research in the Republic of Moldova. The purpose of the article is to describe the activities of the library system in the country, as the main source of national and international information resources for improving the eectiveness of the learning and research process. The methods of logical and statistical analysis were used. The goal of the work consist in conclusions end proposals that can be implemented by the government and other stakeholders in order to promote information support for education and research processes in the Republic of Moldova
