Abstract

To investigate the convective flow of a polytropic gas is considered a complete system of Navier-Stokes equations. Implementation of specific initial and boundary conditions is carried out in the construction of the numerical solution of the full Navier-Stokes equations for unsteady three-dimensional modeling of convective flows of a compressible viscous heat-conducting gas in an isolated area of the cubic. Convective flow generated by the annular heating underlying surface under the action of gravity. Calculated the three components of the velocity vector for the initial stage of the convective flow. It is shown that the velocity components are complex and depend essentially on the shape of the heating time and heating height.
