Abstract
Keyword search makes it very convenient for document management system users to pick up documents they need, though, its effectiveness depends on the quality of indexes stored in backend database. Except well-trained user groups, you cannot expect the usefulness of keyword search because unsophisticated user groups hardly input valuable keywords during their operations. In this paper, I propose a yet another approach to register and retrieve usuful keywords of drawings stored in document control systems. The method enables you automatic keyword maintenance in backend database. This can be also applied to full-text search engines such as 'Namazu'. The tool developed in this research can be freely downloaded via Internet.
