Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the mediating effects in the relationship between the grit and exercise adherence of screen golf participants and to provide basic data needed to mediate healthy leisure through continuous screen golf.BR Method: The subjects of the study were adults who had played screen golf for more than 6 months in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do and Gyeongsangbuk-do provinces by January, 2022. Convenience sampling in nonprobability sampling method was used in the survey. The final 238 questionnaires, collected and satisfied, were used in the analysis.BR Results: The results of the study are as follows: First, the grit of screen golf participants had positive effects on their exercise flow. Second, the grit of screen golf participants had positive effects on their exercise adherence. Third, the exercise flow of the screen golf participants had positive effects on their exercise adherence. Fourth, exercise flow played a mediating role in the relationship between grit and exercise adherence of screen golf participants.BR Conclusion: In summary, the higher the emotional level of screen golf participants, the more golf adherence and the more golf flow they tend to have. It is identified that this exercise adherence and exercise flow enhanced the continuous participation tendency in golf.
