Abstract

In most countries of the world, heritage has become a basic pillar for tourism development, just as tourism is considered a means to spread and exchange culture, and we see that the sites of civilizations are the destination of all tourists. And we find that the Arab Islamic civilization in the Middle East is one of the most important tourist areas. Tourism architecture is considered one of the components of civilization in Egypt and a vital element in its construction and expression. The architectural character genuinely reflects the civilizations that prevailed in different historical stages, and these successive civilizations were only the result of interactions that combine religious, social, cultural, environmental and other influences that characterize society with a special character that differs according to the different era and place. The relationship of the interior designer with his environment must be continuous and reflected in his work in order to preserve its originality. Often his response to the cultural legacy he has established in his heritage and is reflected in his contemporary innovations that work to achieve belonging and whose goal is to create an attractive design The tourist pushes him to interact with the surrounding community. And we would have known that the idea of ​​tourist establishments (hotels, tourist villages ...) had its beginnings as the idea of ​​“takyas” in the Islamic era. The research conducts an analytical study of a fourth year student’s project in the subject “Designing Tourist Facilities,” because the university professor believes that the most important goal of his scientific research is to benefit university students and researchers.
