Abstract
The article highlights the importance of considering the concept of capital as a source of economic development in the modern economy. It is shown that the key factor of resource provision of innovative development of modern national economy is integrated use of different types of capital (physical, intellectual, social and institutional) to create synergies from their interaction, which would significantly affect the dynamics of innovative economic development. Human capital is characterized as a source of resources for the development of the national economy on an innovative basis in terms of its role and place in the structure of intellectual capital. The results of this study are a prerequisite for the development of methodological tools for resource management of innovative development through the realization of human capital potential.
