Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between self-leadership and exercise satisfaction according to the perceived positive psychological capital of Taekwondo players.<BR> Method: For this purpose, 359 Taekwondo athletes were sampled using the non-probability bias sampling method as a population, and correlation analysis between variables and multiple regression analysis were performed through exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis using SPSS 25.0.<BR> Results: First, positive psychological capital perceived by Taekwondo players had a significant effect on self-leadership. Second, positive psychological capital perceived by Taekwondo players had a significant effect on exercise satisfaction. Third, self-leadership perceived by Taekwondo players had a significant effect on exercise satisfaction.<BR> Conclusion: Therefore, positive psychological capital perceived by Taekwondo players is an antecedent variable for the effectiveness of psychological application to Taekwondo players. The effect on satisfaction is positive. In addition, it mentions the active necessity of developing a program of psychological skill training for the improvement of positive psychological capital and self-leadership.
