Abstract
Children's picture books, as the earliest exposure to children's books, are also in-ternationally recognized as "the most suitable books for children to read". They have received a lot of attention since their inception. Children's picture books use easy-to-understand pictures and text to attract children's attention and thus stim-ulate their interest in reading. We will compare and analyze the practice of chil-dren's picture books in education and their theoretical and practical significance in today's environment, based on the types of picture books in China and Russia.
