Abstract
This article provides the theoretical generalization, deepening the methodological principles to improve the system of banking regulation and supervision. The article is devoted to the analysis of the impact of major global trends in the development of an effective system of banking regulation and supervision in Ukraine. The essence of the concept of banking regulation and proposed the basic principle of improving the system of banking regulation and banking supervision. Analyzing the world's major trends banking supervision available conceptual changes to improve the system of banking regulation, it necessitates a more detailed study of the main trends to improve the system of banking regulation and supervision in Ukraine
