Abstract

The article analyzes the relevance of the research topics, defines goals and objectives, subject and object of research. Based on analysis of the literature, it was found that interaction model available propulsion wheel with the supporting surface treat the process as quasi-static and hence do not fully reflect the true picture. Furthermore, existing models do not account for changes in soil properties under the influence of vibration, which is a source of non-stationary processes in the tire contact with the ground, as well as reaction forces that are caused by the ejection of ground contact zone at towing. The results of mathematical modeling of automobile wheels towing process on the ground are offered. A mathematical model that takes into account the properties of the tire and the soil properties is offered. The effect of reaction forces to the wheel, resulting in the ejection of ground contact zone at towing is investigated. The method of calculating the total power to the wheel with his tow on loose soils, taking into account the forces generated as a result of soil release with the contact zone is proposed.
