Abstract
Introduction. Currently, time management is the subject of much discussion by scientists, a dream of every person who strives to improve the quality of their professional and personal life. The necessary knowledge and skills can be acquired in the course of study in educa-tional institutions, particularly, on practical training in the discipline "Time Management", where students have the opportunity to master the techniques of their application.The purpose of the article is to substantiate theoretical and methodological approaches to the design of practical classes in the discipline "Time Management" to improve the quality of training of future professionals The methods of analysis, synthesis, deduction, induc-tion and comparison are use in this article. Results. "Time Management" is one of the basis disci-pline for the training of not only future managers, but also specialists of other professionals, who focus on mastering time management tools. It is defined that using active and person-centered ap-proaches allowing to consider as much as possible per-sonal characteristics of the student and to construct his subject model is expedient at practical classes.It is noted that the discipline involves mastering of technologies increasing personal efficiency through time management, setting goals, planning and organizing professional activi-ty and personal life, self-motivation and self-control skills. It is reasoned that the effective factor influencing the achievement of the intended result is the technology used by the teacher in the course of practical training. Originality. The research reveals the peculiarities of practical classes in the discipline "Time management". Conclusion. Designing time management practical classes gives you the opportunity to reconcile the purpose and content of the discipline, as well as the technology and learning outcomes. The portfolio method allows not only to systematize knowledge and monitor the dynamics of gained experience, but also to determine the directions for individual development of each student’s time man-agement skills.
