Abstract

The article describes two-root adverbs derived from compound adjectives from the viewpoint of their structural and derivational relations in the modern Russian language. The authors identify the similarities and differences in the formation of these adverbs. Their similarity is conditioned by grammatical integrity of root words (adjectives), affixal formation, specificity of word-formative meaning, belonging to two word-formative clusters. Derivational heterogeneity of two-root adverbs manifests itself in the differences concerning the level of derivativeness, means and type of word formation.
