Abstract

The article proposes methodological approaches to the formation of knowledge in physics for future professionals of construction and civil engineering, in particular, to familiarize them with the use of modern achievements of physics in the construction industry. It is substantiated that the main role in modern scientific researches belongs to physics, since its laws and methodology is in every scientific field. It is stated that the teachers of physics in the construction universities in most cases prefer to set the educational material within the program, but they do not always have time to familiarize students with specific modern researches in various fields. and possibilities of using their results in the construction industry. The necessity to view the relation between the program educational material on physics and modern scientific information, as well as advisability to use the variative component of curricula, in particular, development and implementation of special courses for Awareness of future professionals of construction and civil engineering in the direction of creation of innovative construction technologies. The possibilities of use in the construction field of liquid crystals have been considered, because in recent years researches in this field have switched to a qualitatively new level – scientists have not only examined the properties of liquid crystals but change these properties with the aim to expanding their capabilities. Special Course "Modern methods of modification of liquid crystals and their use in the construction industry", which is developed for the in-depth study of fundamentals of Physics of liquid crystals and can be realized due to the variative component of educational Plans or within the framework of the wholesale work. Methodological recommendations for the implementation of the proposed special course that will help teachers of physics focus the attention of students on the most promising construction technologies created using liquid crystals, and to form in them Systemic knowledge in this scientific field. Key words: future construction specialists and civil engineering, liquid crystals, training special course.
