Abstract
Recently, Tomioka mill has completed the modernization of PM 9 that was originally started in 1980.The mill replaced the existing headbox with the new Concept IV headbox. The new Concept headbox provides inmproved cross machine profile of basis weight with the new technology of consistency profile control system.This paper gives outlines of the performance of the consistency profile control system from a half year experience in the operation.
