Abstract
The paper considers the influence of the effectiveness of the repair work on the level of competitiveness of industrial enterprises. It was determined that the main ways to optimize maintenance activities of industrial enterprises are: minimization of reserves and resources for the repair work, the actual rejection of the CPD system, work equipment «failures». The analysis of efficiency of functioning of a control system repairs on metallurgical enterprises has allowed to identify the main problems inherent the study system. These include: lack of sound approach to prioritization of the equipment repairs; lack of communication between the amount spent on the repair of vehicles and increase the level of reliability of the equipment; the inadequacy of the system of accounting of expenses for repair and maintenance tasks relevant control systems: the presence of the artificial separation of overhaul costs, repairs and maintenance, with the exception of the list for the maintenance of their own maintenance personnel to repair incidental expenses; lack of communication between the level of detail of individual repairs and efficiency of repairs; the presence of mismatch between the level of decision-making and the level of responsibility for the results; an increase in time spent on unwarranted downtime due to lack of coordination between different specialists. The paper proposed to optimize the repair of industrial enterprises in three phases. The first stage is conducted to identify existing problems and analyze the causes of deviation from the target model. On the second to be carried out categorization of equipment and production processes and the adaptation of the organizational structure. In the third phase a new process control system repair and maintenance should be implemented.
