The harmonization in the development of academic and vocational (professional) education should play an important role in successful use of professional standards. The partof self-regulatory organization in this process should be clearly determined. The competences taken into consideration when working out educational programs, should be harmonized with regulations on organizing management including the model provisions about divisions, about main departments in management structure and job descriptions. The issues of assessment of compliance of professional qualification with professional standards should be linked to the rules of certification of an organization and taken into consideration when planning staff career, evaluating its performance and developing incentive schemes.
