Abstract

The article examines the structure and content of the RACISM concept by analysing the means of its representation in the contemporary Afro-American rap discourse. This concept is one of the key ones in the American linguo-cultural consciousness, it constantly attracts public attention. Originality of the study is conditioned by the fact that the RACISM concept has not been previously investigated from the viewpoint of the linguo-cognitive and linguo-culturological approaches. The research findings have allowed the authors to describe the core of the analysed concept and its near periphery, to identify its ethno-stereotypic features frequently actualized in the modern Afro-American rap discourse.
