Abstract
In this paper, we show development of virtual reality training system of the optical access in initial trocar placement for laparoscopic surgery. We measured the trocar inserting motion data including trocar position, vertical force, and rotational torque in the actual operations. and then we designed force feedback device which combined with image display system.
