Abstract
The article considers the entrepreneurial risks associated with environmental safety and company management on the basis of environmental management. Particular attention is paid to the factors in the field of environmental safety and environmental management, which can dramatically affect the financial sustainability, development plans of SME companies in strategic planning and management, as well as investment decisions. The concepts of obvious and non-obvious risks for small and medium-sized businesses in the field of environmental safety, environmental management and sustainable development of the organization are given. Non-obvious risks of subsidiary responsibility for owners of SME companies associated with the lack of knowledge of environmental management were identified. The actions for SME companies focused on preventive forecasting and prevention of environmental risks in entrepreneurial activity were proposed.
