Abstract

The nonlinear bending and stability of a thin elasto-plastic spherical segment under the pressure of a compressible liquid is studied. Relations of the problem, an algorithm and a computational program are developed. Results of numerically analyzing a shell with rigidly clamped edges as a function of the conditions of the experiment configuration are obtained. Key words: spherical segment, stability, compressible liquid, algorithm and computational program.
