Abstract

At present, the difference between the training of academic master’s and professional master’s in journalism and communication is not obvious, and the main reason is that the teachers in the school are solidified and the role of industry mentors is insufficient. From the curriculum to the dissertation, the “professional master” is transforming into a low-profile version of the “master’s degree”, and its differentiated training should be concentrated in the curriculum and practical teaching, etc., and the subjective initiative of the industry mentors should be actively exerted, so as to truly cultivate innovative, applied and compound high-level journalism and communication talents who master the “eighteen kinds martial arts” of new media communication.
