Abstract

This study is a study in which dance sport are treated as a humanistic field of philosophical ethics and dance arts as a subject of ’Ethical Consideration on Dance Sport Athletes’, focusing on Kant’s Moral Theory. The review proceeded. As an artistic philosophy, research on dance sport athletes from an ethical standpoint has not been conducted until now. Therefore, it is meaningful that the ethical discussion on the dance sport athlete which can not be easily found in the existing dance sport research was made possible by examining the meaning more deeply in Kant’s moral theory. In conclusion, the above discussion can be summarized as follows. First, the act of a player in a dance sport athlete must be an act that is ’an act appropriate to duty’ and is an obligation to have a moral value. Second, for Kant, moral values are the attributes of good will, that is, the will of rational will and the act of such will, and the act of dancers and sportsmen must act only in good will on the basis of their character as an actor. Third, in the end, for a dance sport player, the moral law is not the rule of action but the actor’s character for good will.
