The measurement and interview were demonstrated with certain Arabic terms such as: participation, raiding, procurement, quotation, exclusion, emulation, and inclusion. Then, the meaning of the Qur’anic intertextuality was addressed, and the definition of the poet whose literary output was applied to the study, which is the Imam al-Shafi, and the extent of his influence with the Holy Qur’an in his poetry. The intertextuality in his poetry from the Holy Qur’an varied in several levels, which were studied in : Intertextuality at the level of the word, the intertextuality at the level of the idea, and the intertextuality at the level of the word and the idea together; It has been proven to the researcher that the poet's literary output has been influenced so much by the Holy Qur’an that there is hardly a single verse of his poetry in it except in which there is a discourse of the Holy Qur’an.
