Abstract
The article analyzes opportunities of using the method of DNA identifi cation of an individual with the help of genetic barcoding within corruption combating activities. The author describes principles of digitizing genetic information to create a genetic barcode for further registration in the database. The paper also reviews problems of the development of a federal genome information database based on SNP analysis.
