Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the difference in leisure activities according to workers’ employment status.<BR> Method: For the analysis of this study, 3,267 cases in wage workers were analyzed in ‘2019 National Leisure Activity Survey (raw data)’.<BR> Results: The main findings are as follows: First, there were significant differences in leisure type and leisure purpose according to workers’ employment status. Second, there was a significant difference leisure expense according to workers’ employment status. Leisure expenses of regular workers were analyzed to be higher than those of non-regular workers. Third, there was a significant leisure time difference according to the workers’ employment status. Leisure time of non-regular workers were analyzed to be higher than that of regular workers. Forth, there was a significant difference of vacation experience according to workers’ employment status. Vacation experience of regular workers was analyzed to be higher than that of non-regular workers.<BR> Conclusion: These results indicate that employment status of regular and non-regular workers can lead to inequality in leisure.
