Abstract

The paper is about importance of education for democratic citizenship and human rights education in the process of forming civic competence of future teachers of the New Ukrainian school; the necessity of introduction into the educational process of education for democratic citizenship and human rights education, overwieves some pedagogical researches on this problem; characterized concepts of «civic competence», «education for democratic society» and «human rights education» are. The author states that the formation of civic competence of future teachers of New Ukrainian school should be facilitated by cognitive and problem-solving tasks in the field of education for democratic citizenship and human rights education at the lessons. It is emphasized that the new education for democratic citizenship and human rights education educational direction on the formation of civic competence of future New Ukrainian school teachers is aimed at the personal development of future specialists, their ability to acquire new experience.
