Abstract
The research aims to identify the features peculiar to L. K. Chukovskaya’s linguistic personality manifestation in her personal letters addressed to various people. The article reveals a range of precedent phenomena that are significant for L. K. Chukovskaya’s individual style, lexical and syntactic features of her letters as well as cases of language game usage are analysed. Scientific novelty of the research lies in addressing L. K. Chukovskaya’s individual style in her letters to K. I. Chukovsky, A. I. Panteleev, D. S. Samoilov, which has not been studied before. As a result, it is proved that L. K. Chukovskaya’s linguistic personality is clearly manifested in her epistolary texts, which reflect thoughts and sentiments of the Russian intelligentsia of the XX century.
