Abstract

The essence and indices of economic freedom are investigated. The growing role of freedom in the economy is justified. The international approaches to assessing the economic freedom of national economies are considered. The features of freedoms in the domestic economy based on the analysis of different ratings and their components are investigated. Strengths and weaknesses of Ukraine to ensure economic freedoms are identified. The features of the economic freedoms manifestation in Ukraine are explored. Ways of increasing the level of economic freedom in Ukraine are determined.
