Abstract

There are a large number of international indices characterizing various aspects of the development of States. According to these indices, international ratings of countries and states are compiled. Such indices are: corruption index, human rights index, tolerance index, economic inequality index. All of them, together with the theory of state and law, give a rather voluminous idea of the development of a particular society.
