Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the left and right of the body composition, lower muscle strength, and walking ability in junior curling player.BR 12 junior curling players were measured on left and right body composition(tissue fat, region fat, tissue, fat, lean, BMC, fat free and BMC)(DEXA, USA), lower muscle strength(peak torque, peak torque/body weight, total work, aver. power, aver. peak torque)(BIODEX, USA), walking ability(aver. step length, time foot)(BIODEX, USA). All factors were analysed using independent t-test. Body composition was no significant between left and right. In the lower muscle strength, 60deg/sec, 180deg/sec, 300deg/sec on Peak toque, Peak toque/body weight, Aver. power, Total work were no significant, but Flexor on Peak toque/body weight of 180deg/sec were lower left leg than right leg. Also, Walking ability in 6min in left Step Length(cm) and time foot was significantly longer than right. BR In conclusion, we suggest that Junior curling players need to participate the special training program for adjusting the balance between left and right.
