Abstract
The goal of this study is to provide necessary policy to promote sport tourism in Korea. For analysis, Delphi method was used to analyze the professional opinions: Subjects are 13 of professor in sports studies 10 of professors in tourism studies, 7 of professional in sports touisrm field. The problem of sports tourism is that there is no professional analysis and management abilities showing the future prospects and solutions toward Korea sports tourism. The main point to resolve the problem isth at government should consider about the connection with sport event and tourism market. Infusion of sprots and tourism, construction of sports tourism infra, sports tourism policy and support of budget, develompent of sports tourism contents were factors to closely affect promotion of sports tourism in Korea. Develompent of sports tourism could be carried out by specific strategy according to national plan, community needs. Among the components of promoting and developing of sports tourism affected voluntary citizen particpation, infusion of sport events and tourism resources, onstruction of sports events infra.
