Abstract

This book was written to sum up and popularize the scientific-academic exploration, method and style that have been used for many years in learning and researching traditions and stages of development of advanced textual criticism manuscripts of Uzbekistan. In this book, the functions, principles, classifications and types of editions of textual criticism were systematized and learning the history of manuscript texts, principles of drawing up a scientific critical text were shown. Textual manuscript is explored dividing into the following 3 parts: 1. History of text. 2. Interpretation of text. 3.Forming text. Textual criticism is crucial in estimating the value of a fiction work as a written heritage and having complete understanding of it. In reality, textual criticism aims at showing an inner aspects of a fiction and the history of its formation, clarifying the causes of its change, in case an original version is not well preserved it puts forward creating the version close to the original.
