Abstract

Background The share of hard-to-recover oil reserves in overall reserves in Russia increases in recent years. Aims and Objectives It is necessary to develop new technologies, taking into account the peculiarities of geological structure and reservoir properties of carbonate reservoirs. Results There is presented an analysis of Znamenskoe Field hard-to-recover reserves development using the advanced energy-saving technology. The efficiency of realized carbonate reservoirs development system is basically determined by the most essential five factors: 1. By accounting the geological structure features of productive deposits; 2. By complete drilling out on lines 400x400 m with dispersed water flood system; 3. By usage of highly mineralized thermal waters of terrigenous Devonian as a displacement agent, under the injection pressure over 0,6 of formation pressure, developed by electric submersible pump during water extraction from water-supply wells; 4. By usage of the cyclic flooding technology and microbiological methods of enhanced oil recovery; 5. The usage of the primary and secondary completion technology with the module formation clipper, providing the saving of its natural productivity.
