Abstract

The article analyzes the approaches to industry research: technological and economic. The purpose of the study is to characterize the structure of crop production in relation to the crop industry. As an example of the crop industry, the concentration of production in organizations specializing in the production of crop products by OKVED activities was calculated. It was concluded that in general, the crop production market is poorly concentrated. The market concentration is highest among organizations of the type of activity 01.13.5 "Cultivation of sugar beets and seeds of sugar beets," 01.11.1 "Cultivation of grain crops." The least concentrated production by type of activity is 01.16 "Cultivation of fibrous spinning crops," 01.19.1 "Cultivation of annual fodder crops." The Lorentz curve and cumulative curves were used to graphically represent the unevenness of the distribution of organizations and their shares in the production of crop production.
