Abstract

Introduction: The professional training of cadets at the National academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine named after Bohdan Khmelnytskyi is conducted at all the educational disciplines but it’s necessary to highlight that the basis of studying the foreign language is the general cycle that systemizes the knowledge about the norms of professional communication, cultural behavior, background knowledge, extralinguistic information that provide mastering the foreign communicative competence . Purpose: to characterize the interdisciplinary ties in foreign language training of future bachelors on specialty” State Border Security”. Methods of research: analysis, synthesis, systematization of scientific pedagogical manuals, normative documents, generalization. Originality: the problem of interdisciplinary ties is very relevant because the mutual ties of disciplines are caused by the task of complex approach to the education and upbringing. The usage of interdisciplinary ties during studying the disciplinary “The Foreign Language for Specific Purposes” is one of the efficient means of professionalization of educational process. It increases the professional orientation of future border guard officers and develops their general and cultural activity and facilitates the foreign communicative competence formation. The realization of interdisciplinary ties in the foreign language training of future border security bachelors is the motivation means of educational process and also stimulation factor as for mastering the future professional activity. Conclusion: The educational discipline “The Foreign Language for Specific Purposes” is connected with compulsory and selective components of educational program training of the first (bachelor) level of higher education. The foreign professional training of cadets includes mastering of general competences, speciality professional competences, selective competences of the educational establishment, and selective competences of cadets. General training cycle of future border guard officers’ educational curriculum includes the interconnection of foreign language professional cadets training with the disciplines of all cycles of training.
