Abstract

In this article, the transport system of the Crimea will be considered from the point of view of the characteristics of various types of transport according to criteria such as efficiency, safety, time costs and consumer preferences. The article will consider the infrastructure of the peninsula for all types of vehicles, as well as the main features of the passenger traffic of the Crimean peninsula, the dynamics of changes in the number of passengers, as well as factors affecting the sharp increase in rail passengers in recent years. An analysis of passengers' preferences by types of railway cars will be carried out and a conclusion will be made about the need to plan updates in the infrastructure of Russian Railways.
