Abstract

The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of 12weeks soccer exercise program on health-related physical fitnss, blood lipids, and estrogen of an adult female. Total of 20 experiment subjects was allocated to 2 groups, control group and exercise group, with 10 people in each group. All analyses were performed with SASW 18.0. Difference verification following the group and time interval for measurement was done using two-way repeated measure of ANOVA. Pre・post difference verification of significant difference within the group was done using paired t-test, and difference verification between groups was done using independent t-test. As a result of the experiment, Free fat mass increased significantly and % body fat, and waist circumference decreased significantly in exercise group after 12 weeks. Body fat percentage after exercise was significantly lower in the exercise group than in the control group. Health-related physical fitness such as back strength, muscular endurance, cardiopulmonary endurance and flexibility increased significantly in exercise group after 12 weeks. Cardiopulmonary endurance and flexibility after exercise was significantly higher in the exercise group than in the control group. Within the exercise group, TC, LDL-C significantly decreased, no significant change occurred in HDL-C and TG. TG after exercise was significantly lower in the exercise group than in the control group. No significant difference of estrogen manifested within exercise group after 12 weeks but it appeared to have an increasing tendency. Therefore, our findings suggested that the soccer exercise program to have a positive effect on health-related physical fitness, blood lipid, and estrogen of an adult female.
