Abstract

The purpose of this study was to verify the mediating effect of goal orientation in the relationship between self-management and mind set of amateur golfers. The study subjects were 329 golf clubs located in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Gangwon, and a survey was conducted on self-management, mind-set, and goal orientation. The collected data were subjected to descriptive statistical analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, simple regression analysis, hierarchical regression analysis, and Sobel test verification using the SPSS27.0 program. The research results are as follows. First, self-management had a positive effect on task orientation and ego orientation. Second, in the relationship between self-management and growth mindset, ego orientation and task orientation have a complete mediating effect. Third, it was verified that task orientation had a fully mediating effect in the relationship between self-management and fixed mindset.
