Abstract

The article provides information on the analysis of energy costs, energy intensity and energy efficiency of livestock enterprises of the agro-industrial complex. The problem of determining the economically feasible ratio between the energy expended for the production of certain products and the amount of products produced is considered, and the questions that can be answered when solving this problem are considered. The scheme of energy flows in the technological cycle of animal husbandry, as well as the dependence of energy intensity and energy efficiency of the production of animal products has been analyzed.
