Abstract

The article provides an overview and analysis of domestic and foreign authors’ works, studying the problem of development and formation of competitive professionals. Presented and substantiated the author’s position on the need to change the approach to formation of competitiveness of workers, which was the main purpose of the authors. Algorithmically presented and disclosed model of competitiveness of workers in a globalized economy. Differentiate the necessary conditions for the formation of competitiveness of workers at the macro, meso and micro levels. Refine and supplement of the nature of competitiveness as the ability of an employee to use in the global competitiveness of the possibility for the formation and implementation of key professional and personal characteristics sought in internal and external labor markets. Isolated and characterized meaningful economic globalization factors that determine the formation of the competitiveness of workers (technological, regulatory, production, socio-economic, infrastructure). The content of the process of formation of competitiveness of workers as a set of actions of the authorities at various levels and institutions to create conditions that take into account the impact of globalization of the economy. Features of formation of competitiveness of workers are determined by the need to protect national interests, security, and expressed in integration of efforts at all levels; specification of tasks for each level; focus on the development strategy of the country, regions, companies and workers target; continuity; availability of performance indicators.
