Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of the influence of external factors on the corporate culture of an IT enterprise. The peculiarities of the influence of external factors on the corporate culture of the IT enterprise are different from the usual ones, which was the impetus for a more detailed study of this issue. Four groups of major factors of the external environment of the enterprise were formed – political, economic, social and technological factors. The main factors in each of the four groups of analysis that have the greatest impact are identified. Political factors include political instability in Ukraine, cooperation with the EU, visa-free travel, US domestic policy, and China's domestic policy. The economic factors include: the exchange rate, the economic state of the United States, the economic state of China, the change in the tax system in IT. Socio-demographic factors include: declining birth rates, migration trends, rising unemployment and educational attainment. Technological factors include: Winter of Innovation, IoT and Big Data. The importance and power of the influence on the corporate culture of the enterprise of each factor of four groups is determined and the weighted estimates of each group of factors are determined. The assessment was carried out by means of a survey of enterprise experts. The cumulative influence of environmental factors is found by the factor of influence of factors. The biggest threat to corporate culture is the socio-demographic factors, among them the most negative impact on corporate culture is the migration of skilled workers abroad. Technological factors have a positive influence, among which the Big Data development is the most positive, which allows the company to increase its economic status and increase its budget for corporate culture financing. On the whole, based on the results of the PEST-analysis, it can be concluded that the present-day external environment adversely affects the functioning of the corporate culture of Light IT LLC. The practical value of the research is that by preventing threats and taking advantage of opportunities, the enterprise can manage the corporate culture and increase its own efficiency.
