Abstract
Different types of manual search are presented for end users to put special features of the INIS Atomindex to practical use. High recall ratios are assured certainly from searching on either main entry section of relevant subject categories or titles under two or three groups of main headings selected systematically without any knowledge on the category scheme and INIS Thesaurus. Descriptions are also given on the frame and effective use of other four Indexes including semiannual cumulatives.
