Abstract

The work is devoted to the development of a device for controlling vigor. Based on the advantages and disadvantages of existing systems and methods, a block diagram of the system for controlling vigor was developed and the choice of system components was justified.Insufficient human attention in the workplace can be a source of error or even disaster In some professions, sleeping in the line of duty (sleeping at work) is a malicious misconduct and can lead to disciplinary action, including dismissal. In other occupations, such as firefighters or rescuers, sleeping for some part of the shift may be paid hours. Sleeping at work can be both intentional and accidental.Sleep at work is an important issue and is often referred to in company rules. Employees are being monitored to prevent performance degradation, deterioration of employees' appearance and the possibility of a hazardous situation. To solve some of the problems listed above, an electronic system has been created that monitors the physiological state of the person through sensorsThe purpose of the work is to develop a system of human vigor control. The system must be mobile and user-friendly, without interfering with the worker's duties.Research in this area is conducted for more than one year, such systems usually work when a person falls asleep. The developed system should warn the person about decrease of level of attention and possibility of falling asleepUsually the main methods of attention control are:EncephalographyPhotoplethysmographyAccelerometer applicationMachine vision systemsMeasurement of electrodermal activityOne of the most effective methods of controlling the occurrence of emotional tension in humans is based on the measurement of electrodermal activity (EDA). This method determines the electrical activity of the skin on the palms or fingers. These parts of the body are rich in a special type of sweat glands called eccrine. The main advantage is the accuracy of vigor.Pulse measurement (Encephalography) has a role to play. Simultaneously with the decrease in concentration - there is a decrease in heart rate. This signals that the person is relaxed and may lose their alertness.Using an accelerometer. The principle of operation of the device against sleep is simple: at a certain inclination of the head (approximately 15-20 degrees) the device produces a long beep. Thus, the device wakes the person, does not allow him to fall asleep. The disadvantage of this system is - if the person throws his head back, the device does not recognize the tilt. There are devices that use machine vision algorithms to determine if a person is in a concentrated state. He constantly analyzes the frequency of blinking of the eyes, eye movements and other forms of facial expression. If a person starts to fall asleep, the device will sound an alarm for 1-2 seconds and immediately wake up. [4] The main disadvantage of this system is the high cost and complexity of implementation.Based on the features of the vigor control methods for the developed electronic vigilance control system, the following vigor control methods were selected: Photoplethysmography; Measurement of electrodermal activity
