Abstract
The collections of poems such as “Gosiwon” and “Gosisangseok” have something in common as they are the collections of poems written in Qing Dynasty of China. Both of the collections of poems have the ancient poetry ranging from Goilsi to the poems written in Sui Dynasty. They belong to the collections of poems by type. The collections of poems by type are supposed to arrange the poems according to the types or topics valued by an editor. Both collections of poems follow the sequence of time and then, if the works are written in the same period, the poems authored by famous poets are put in the front side and the works written by anonymous authors put on the back side. In case of Goilsi which was researched in this paper, it is found that, out of two collections, Gosisangseok is more faithful to the standard suggested before than the other collection of poems. It means that there are the subcategories below the Goilsi, such as Tangsi, Usi, Sangsi, Jusi and Jinsi and that the works writen by known authors are put on the front side among the Tangsi while the works written by unknown authors were put on the back.<BR> Gosiwon also put the Goilsi following the big trend of the time sequence. But, while the siga related to King Yao, which is the starting part of Goilsi, being selected, it said in its legend, “Two works such as Gyeokangga” and “Gangguyo” have opened the Seongsi“, thus showing the special meaning. This is the thing which is not visible in the example of collection of poems “Gosiwon”. The fact that Shen Deqian put two works at the front part of Gosiwon along with the special meaning shows that they are related to the ideology “Sigyo” which he had. It means that the life of people and the ideal rulers in peaceful world is just what he tried to achieve in this world as it is written in these two works.
