Abstract

The purpose of the study: to analyze the system of physical and medical rehabilitation of patients at the Military Medical Clinical Treatment and Rehabilitation Center (MMCTRC) to determine its compliance with the main recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the development of further capabilities.Materials and methods. Data from 316 cards of inpatients of cardiological and cardiosurgical profile of MMCTRC were analyzed. The WHO recommendations, legislative and normative documents of the Ministry of Health (MOH) of Ukraine, literature sources are used. Methods applied: analytical-statistical, information-search, theoretical, comparative analysis.Results. The system of providing physical and medical rehabilitation to patients of cardiological and cardiosurgical profile in the Military Medical Clinical Medical Rehabilitation Center and its compliance with modern requirements are analyzed.Data on the number of rehabilitators are given. In particular, for the period from 2015 to 2020, 316 patients underwent cardiorehabilitation in the cardiology department. Of these, 239 patients underwent cardiac surgery at various times. The basic principles of construction of the rehabilitation process, means, methods and techniques of rehabilitation are highlighted. Problematic issues are presented and ways to solve them are suggested.Conclusions. Based on the analysis of the structure of patients in the cardiology department of the Military Medical Clinical Medical Rehabilitation Center, it was found that in the period 2015-2020 316 patients underwent cardiac rehabilitation, among them 75% had cardiac surgery at different times (mostly aorto-coronary artery bypass grafting and stenting), which determines the importance of developing and implementing appropriate rehabilitation programs. The introduction of the proposed system in the rehabilitation of patients with cardiac and cardiosurgical will reduce the degree of limitation of their lives, restore independence in everyday life, accelerate the return to professional activity and (or) to active life. It is necessary to carry out further organizational and methodological measures to improve the system of physical and rehabilitation medicine in the rehabilitation of patients with cardiac and cardiosurgical in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.First of all, it needs to adequately address the issue of providing continuous postgraduate training of specialists in medical rehabilitation, staffing of medical institutions with modern rehabilitation equipment.Key words: Armed Forces of Ukraine, rehabilitation, patients of cardiological and cardiosurgical profile.
